Arguably the best spot in Queensland, it was our honour to complete this build with sweeping views over Manly harbour.

Every build has its unique challenges and this was no different. However, we love a challenge and managing the huge 1000m2 slopping block was all in a day’s work.

Our brief was to maximise the substantial space available on the tricky block and make the most of the stunning ocean and marina vista.

The build involved extensive engineering with the construction of a series of suspended concrete slabs. Of course floor to ceiling glazing was a non-negotiable to bring the outside in at every opportunity. Due to the sheer scale and access challenges the specialist team glazed the huge windows on site. 

The breathtaking custom-concrete pool appears to be suspended high above ground level and features a SwimJet system installed by the CJH team. The project was finished with the addition of a two-storey garage, including a spiral staircase and guest loft.

The Oceana project required close collaboration with the client who sourced many of their own materials and fixtures which we incorporated seamlessly into the build.

With a build wrapping up close to Christmas we knew the proud homeowners wanted to celebrate in their stunning new home. We were able to complete the project ahead of schedule and the clients settled in well before festivities began.
